The Charlie Dress, Take One

I’ve been waiting so impatiently to share this one and it’s finally live!  The Charlie dress is such a cute flirty design.  It’s easy to sew and Farrah made sure to include everything beginners need in her pattern.

Now, you might look at this dress and think you could totally make it yourself but really, it’s different.  That ruffle?  That’s not a rectangle.

Here you see the first version I made in a batik I’ve had for a long time.  The pattern was tweaked between this version and the final one (which I will be showing later!) The final version is more fitted at the chest level.

For now, the Charlie dress is exclusive to the Sewing Rabbit.  Become a member to access it.  In two weeks, Farrah will start selling it in her shop as well.  I know I said this already but this is a great pattern for beginners.  It’s easy but teaches technique so that the beginner will develop their skill.  And it’s just so cute!

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
