I got up early yesterday morning. 5:15 early. As much of a morning person as I am, that’s still early for me. The plan was to set up my camera on its tripod, get the timer remote control ready, and get some time-lapse images of flowers blossoming. Well now. Either 5:15 isn’t early enough or all the flowers in the yard just keep blooming regardless of sunlight. Shoulda done this when the tulips were in bloom…
Since I was up anyway, I figured I might as well get pictures of the flowers. We’re moving in July and I’ll never see these flowers again. I find myself pausing to take them in. And this morning, they all had beautiful glistening raindrops.
Moments like these, I really wish I had a macro lens. This one is awesome for portraits but I can’t get as close as I would like. I guess I know what I’ll be asking for for my birthday. 6 months from now…
