My sister and her little family visited us last weekend. Saturday being cold and rainy and her sone being all of 18 months old, finding something that would be fun for all the kids was a bit of a challenge. Enter the Children’s Museum of the Arts. They have a special art room for kids 5 and under and a special area to get the wiggles out. It’s long corridor type thing and kids can run around fun one end to the other. Off to the side, there are these top spinners that kids can sit on and spin. Older kids had access to the open art studio, and fun activities like the clay bar and stop motion animation. And for me, there was a fiber art exhibit. I took some pictures while the kids were making art and had so much fun! I found that I much preferred focusing on only a part of each installation rather than try to get the whole thing in one shot…
