Knitting Progress (Finally!)

Remember when V was sick and I couldn’t get anything done? Writing that post was actually the push I needed to get productive.  So I couldn’t sew because V needed me? I could knit!  And I did.  I fixed up these socks.

And then they waited for me to take a picture.  I could have worn them when it was cold but noooo.  I had to get a picture first.  So now, I have finished socks in my sock drawer and it’s finally getting warm.  Whatever.  But don’t they fit well?

(I know, it’s a little hard to see. It ain’t easy getting good pictures of my own feet.) For the record, this is what they were like before.

See how my toes are bunching up at the end?  And see how they aren’t bunching up anymore? Perfect fit. There’s something weird going on with my grafting on the left sock but I don’t care.

And with the socks out of the way, I was able to add the pink to the blanket!  It is now big enough for a small cat.  Maybe even a regular cat.  Not quite enough for the big one we have at home.

I like rolling it up…

It’s great mindless knitting but I’m craving something a little more demanding at the moment.  I just don’t know what.  Any ideas? I’m thinking lace…

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?

Those socks sure are cute! They do look a bit more comfortable now.
I’m really enjoying watching this blanket grow!

    • Thank you! I really love them. That bright pink is so fun.

At this point, I’m wondering if I have enough leftovers to get the blanket big enough. I may have to knit more socks…
