That picture is from January 2014. I’d been watching Project Run & Play and feeling so intimidated. I’d been afraid of participating, even if only in the sew along. That picture, that’s when I stopped listening to that not so little doubting voice in my head. I spent so much time on these projects, going to bed late, and driving my family crazy. And I wasn’t even a competitor!
Season 14 of Project Run & Play is starting next week and I’m so thrilled and anxious. You might have guessed by now that I’ll be a competitor! I’m sewing through the renovations going on at home. A little sad that I can’t do any machine knitting because of lack of space but still crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to dye some fabric at some point.
So be prepared. I’m going to be begging for your votes every week! I’m excited to show off everything I’ve planned so I really don’t want to be eliminated before the end. Wish me luck! (And vote for me.)

Enjoy your experience of showing us some of the wonderful creations that are in your head. I usually submit at least one sew along creation because I enjoy seeing what others have created. This year my granddaughter is a pre-teen, and she is my biggest judge of “what she will wear.”
