We just had such a busy weekend! Spring finally showed up and it was lovely outside. I hear. I ended up inside all day Saturday. The girls are changing bedrooms and M wanted to get their new bed in place. But first, I had to clear out their new bedroom. The computer and my sewing had been set up there. We also had to clear space in their old bedroom. I usually go through it every Summer when they’re away. Throw out the crap and reorganize everything. I didn’t get to do it this year so their room, okay, mainly their desk, was an epic mess. All day. Clearing things out and making space. Moving a lot of books. And Sunday, M and I assembled the bed together. No, there were no fights. My only time outside was lunch on the rooftop and a little time up there for pictures. That’s it. But I got to feel glorious warm sunlight on my face!
Anyway, none of us have particularly green thumbs but it was even worse last year since we weren’t home for most of the Summer. Lots of dead plants. The only one that didn’t seem to care was the succulent. It was already there when we moved in and we leave it be.
The lavender had lots of dry leaves but it looks like it’s hanging in there.
And finally, I think this is a teeny tiny bit of sage growing. The whole container is dry and brown except for this small bit.
I don’t foresee we’ll do much better this Summer. Hopefully, something in there makes it through…
