I don’t know the name of this neighborhood. We were there last week after we got off the ferry. There’s this one cobblestoned street with older buildings dwarfed by skyscrapers.
Coming from Québec, I’m used to older cities like Montreal and Québec having, well, an old section. (Yes, I do know that Europeans are laughing at my using old to describe cities founded in the 17th century.) New York City was founded at about the same time but the old city is essentially gone. I miss it. This one little section where we had lunch has just a few and I went a little snap happy there.
I desaturated the images a lot but that’s all I did. I find it gives a softer look than black and white.
(Texting daddy because we didn’t know where he’d gone.)
