Photo Monday – Flowers and Mirrors

My parents came over for Easter. I like it because we get to see them and celebrate Spring. Easter is just much better without snow… M asked my father to help him hang a second mirror in our dining room while I was out. I brought back a few bunches of flowers and M set them in a vase in front of the mirror. I loved the way they were reflected in the mirror, with the window providing some extra light. It was sunny and I should have taken pictures but I waited until Monday.

The white tulips were wilting a bit already and it was cloudy so not a phenomenal amount of light.

One of the white ones was resting against the mirror and I messed around with that a little.

The light behind this one is actually the window reflected in the mirror.

I noticed that I could see that mirror from the moody flowers post in the one M and my father hanged. Depending on my angle, I wasn’t visible in it. I did leave it out of focus but now, you can see my lovely mirror…

It’s kinda like a church window with the wood painted blue and mirror instead of stained glass. It makes me happy.

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?

Ton miroir est superbe et dans une maison les reflets de la lumière sont magnifiques et donnent beaucoup de personnalité à l'endroit…. Tes tulipesblanches… quel ravissement…. Bravo pour le rendu.
