Photo Monday – The Last Leaves

I think this is the last of the colorful leaves for this year. Still, I haven’t yet gotten over the fact that they lasted all through November. When we lived in Montreal, I always hoped for snow on my birthday. Otherwise, it was just cold and grey with all the leaves gone. At least snow brought light with it. Here, November still has color and some degree of warmth. It’s the Winter months that look like that Montreal November. I have been known to tell people that I wish Winter could be about 5 degrees colder so the snow would stick. I get odd looks…

Anyway…

I went shopping with the girls on Friday. We only bought what we’d been planning on (gifts for M and a gift for V’s friend) and kept it local. On the way there, we passed by those leaves I’d tried to get the other week. I had the 50mm on because of wind. Also because of wind, a lot of them had fallen but I did get a few.

V spotted these small leaves that I’d missed but I couldn’t get her to move out of the frame. So here she is, blurred.

With skating starting up again soon, I have a feeling I’ll be taking more of these berry pictures again.

No more leaves.

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
