These are from a visit to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden over Easter weekend (yes, I went again and I plan to go frequently). I meant to edit and post these pictures last week but ran out of energy for it. I had something like 200 pictures and the sorting just drains me. Editing is fine once I’ve reduced the number of images. So here they are this week.













The blossoms are incredible. Here, the trees are already throwing them off again, but right now with everything going on, I find so much comfort in seeing the trees and the flowers coming to life. It’s reassuring, somehow, that nature goes on as it usually does, unbothered by human actions.

Thank you! I’m obsessed with everything that’s flowering right now. And you’re right. Watching nature just keep going despite everything is reassuring. Like, even if we manage to destroy ourselves, nature will still be there doing what it does.
