Sick Days

The two souricettes are sick.  Souricette 2 has unmentionably disgusting stuff in her diaper and has been throwing up after dinner.  Only after dinner.  She’s otherwise happy and eating but I’m constantly worried her diaper will leak all over the place.  Souricette 1 has something that seems to have been going around.  Fever and belly ache.  Appetite is okay, a little off but not alarming.  Three days off school.  Ack.  She’ll be fine by Monday.  But well, that throws a wrench in the routine.  They both have the energy for outings but I don’t want to go too far from the house in case of disgusting accidents.  Thank goodness for online grocery shopping…

I really wanted to get a post up on Wednesday because it’s been a month since the last Wednesday post and I thought once a month was a nice, tidy, little routine.  Have I ever told you I love a schedule? I do. I didn’t manage it though.  Just as I was about to write the post, a sewing book review, I realized I wanted to take pictures of everything I’ve made from it and it was too late for that.  No more nice light.  And now that I think about it, I possibly already have some pictures…  Let’s just chalk it up to the souricettes being sick, okay?

In other news, May 15 is coming up quickly isn’t it?  I have 4 modules completed on the top secret project.  So 2 more to go and a little bit of finishing.  And there’s one more thing I need to make.  Very easy and not big.  Shouldn’t take me more than a day.  And then I can package the whole thing up and send it off with a lovely card.  Oh, maybe I’ll bake something too…  But I still really want to show it off and I can’t hold back anymore.  So, sneak peak!

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
