When Mr. Mouse asked me what I wanted to do for Mother’s Day, I said I wanted to take a walk in the woods. Somewhere we haven’t been yet. He did some research and I picked Rockefeller State Park Preserve. Souricette 1 complained about going for a walk in the woods. I think I used to complain about these walks when I was a kid but somehow, I only remember them fondly. In fact, I love these trail walks. This park had easy trails, stroller accessible (but we took the baby carrier). We walked around “Swan Lake” but saw no swans. Lots and lots of turtles though! I had my telephoto zoom on and I’m happy about that. A more powerful zoom would have been even better. Mine only goes to 250mm…
See my little photographer? She overheard when her father reminded me to take my camera so she took the old point and shoot I gave her. She has some issues with camera shake and she doesn’t know how to zoom yet. I have her set on children/animals mode so that she gets less blurriness. She was obsessed with the turtles but they’re hard to find in all her shots. This is my favorite of hers.
She can take quite the picture, can’t she?
