Big orchard. Big!
They had all these activities and entertainment. And people! So many people! I know it doesn’t help that we showed up right after lunch but that was the best way to fit it in this weekend. Honestly, I think I prefer a smaller, quieter orchard. There’s one we’ve enjoyed a lot these past three years but we wanted to try some place different.
But! Apple trees! And apples!
Souricette 1 was able to actually pick apples on her own this year.
Souricette 2, not so much… Poor thing was so tired. And all that walking, not picking apples. Being told not to touch the fallen ones. Her apple bag getting too heavy for her…
Eventually, she had to let daddy and big sis go on ahead as she dragged on with me. But she had apples!
Why yes! She did have more than one…
Big sis had a few as well.
Both girls were getting tired and we still had half a bag to fill. So I left Mr. Mouse to it and took them to the petting zoo. Where you neither feed nor pet the animals apparently. Souricette 2 discovered some extra energy in her little body at the mention of animals. A horse!
They both slept during the car ride home, had second and third helpings of dinner, and passed out early…
I love reading your comments! I will try to respond to every single one.
