KCW: Days 3 & 4

kid's clothes week

I’ve been busy!

Day 3 doesn’t look like much.  I only finished leggings for souricette 2.

Polka dot cotton interlock cotton, from the Sunki pattern.

However, I got lots more work in than just the leggings.  I wanted to finish up all the seams that required white thread in my serger so I could move on to black thread.  So I did some work on two tops that got finished on…

Day 4: two banded tank tops from Sewing Modkid Style and black Sunki eggings for souricette 1!

Apart from the magenta from souricette 1’s top, everything is cotton interlock. The magenta is cotton/lycra jersey.  I love all these fabrics.  The cotton interlock is thick and has good body.  It works for well tops but is a fantastic choice for pants or dresses.  The jersey is soft and pretty easy to deal with. Not as easy as the interlock but still easy.

I really wanted to finish the second nightgown for souricette 2 but I still have to do the bottom ruffle.  And then…  I don’t know!  I’ve finished everything I’d planned!  I guess I’ll be cutting out my leftovers to make a skirt!

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
