I said this to someone last week. If you miss out on playing in the leaves one single year, your life is completely and totally ruined. Fine. I may have exaggerated just a little. Still, everyone and their dog in our neighborhood has a gardener. Leaves get picked up every week. I’ll look out the window one morning and see the leaves. I think we might play in them after school. And then they’re gone by the time the girls come home. I have to actually schedule playing in the leaves! There was wind, a good crop of newly fallen leaves, and the last bit of sun for the day. So we went outside. I took pictures, Mr. Mouse took pictures, and then we all played. There was probably a great family picture in there somewhere but it was never taken…
