Photo Monday: Knit, Purl, Sow

Coming back to these photography posts after 4 weeks off feels a little… Weird?  Project Run & Play took up so much of my time and energy that I more or less forgot about everything else.  I have that feeling of emptiness that comes after a big push.  The previous routine feels slow and unexciting somehow…

I saved these pictures to share at just this time.  I took them in January.  We visited the Brooklyn Botanical Garden on the last weekend of a special exhibit that I desperately wanted to see.  Even though PRP was taking every single bit of energy that I had, I had to see Knit, Purl, Sow.  Beautiful knit creations inspired by plants.  Mr. Mouse kindly took care of the girls while I snapped away.  I wish that I could have touched the creations.  Knitting is such a tactile form…

I wanted to stay there forever.

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
