This was to be a portrait session with souricette 1. But she was not in the mood. You see, souricette 2 was going to a birthday party without her. End. Of. The. World.
I thought I would end up going for a walk in the woods on my own and started my outing with a picture of Mr. Mouse’s clematis flowers. (We have two plants that we just bought this year. He picked a white one that is flowering beautifully. I picked a purple one that is climbing the trellis at the speed of light but it isn’t likely that it’ll bloom this year.)
It’s pretty, isn’t it?
I was about to leave when souricette 1 changed her mind and decided to come with me. It may be because I told her that I wouldn’t do anything fun with her during the birthday party if her mood didn’t improve. We walked to the Leatherstocking trail. Souricette 1 was happy and energetic but wouldn’t cooperate. I didn’t push it.
She’s not angry. Just looking for sticks.
