Sitting here in the muggy New York Summer weather, I miss the cool winds of San Francisco. We just got back from a two week trip to California and I have hundreds of pictures to sort through. It’s an overwhelming task! I’ve decided to split our trip into several parts. No one needs to see the same flower from three angles, 10 shots of the bay or 5 different butterflies so I’ve seriously edited myself. A LOT. So here’s our time in San Francisco, in 12 pictures.
First up, the Exploratorium where we had a blast. It’s a very interactive and educational museum. Lots and lots of playful experiments for everyone.
We just happened to be there during the SF pride parade so we watched for a bit and the girls waved their rainbow flags. We couldn’t stay until the end because the girls were tired, hungry, and hot.
After some food, ice cream, and fun in a park, we took the cable cars to the top of Lombard street and walked down. Of course! And then we walked up. And down. And up. And down.
We also visited the California Academy of Sciences. Souricette 2 loves animals with a passion and had a ball until she was just too tired and turned cranky…
After lunch, we visited the Japanese Tea Garden right next door where souricette 1 got tired and cranky. We finished the day at a park to appease her…
And finally (have you been counting down the 12?), what San Francisco collection would be complete without this shot?
I love reading your comments! I will try to respond to every single one.
