Mitten wearing season is finally over. And these mittens were worn. I knit them for my girls and they have chosen them over their other mittens each and every time. It warmed my heart to see them favor what I’d made them and I am sad to see these goes but they’re getting small. Or is it my girls getting big?
These ones have already been handed down. They used to look like this. They went through my two girls and now, they need to move on…

Only went through souricette 1 but I don’t think they’ll make it to souricette 2. They’re so fuzzed up. My lens couldn’t capture it as well as I wanted. I wish I’d had a macro lens to get really close and show you how they’ve felted.
Someone will be knitting mittens next Summer…
