We decided to go for a hike on Saturday. When you’ve had a long Winter and it finally warms up, you go out, right? We decided to go to Rockefeller State Park Preserve and hike all the way to Stone Barns. I figured I would use the opportunity to get action shots of the girls. This is what I got.
Souricette 2 was in a bad mood.
She would start running as soon as she would notice me trying to take a picture. I never had the time to get away from her and down to her level.
She put her leggings on backwards so that there was this odd bunching at the front.
We went in the afternoon so the light wasn’t exactly flattering. All my attempts at portraits of souricette 1 had way too harsh lighting.
When Winter has been long, the trees don’t have a whole bunch of leaves yet. Essentially no open shade.
You do what you can, right?
