I’ve been meaning to get better at action shots. I tend to focus on aperture to get the depth of field I want but then, if the girls move, they’re blurry. Yesterday, I managed to convince souricette 1 to be my model. I told her to do cartwheels for me. She chose the location. I chose the shutter speed (1/640 at first and then I went up to 1/800). My ISO was set at 100 and I let the camera choose the aperture. It was alternately sunny and cloudy and the camera is way better at adjustments on the fly than I am. Oh, and I set the camera to shoot continuously. I’ll get to manual mode someday!
She got sick of cartwheels before I managed to get a perfect shot.
And then souricette 2 wanted a turn but she doesn’t do cartwheels.
I got back to souricette 1 who was showing off her monkey bar skills.
She’s getting so strong!
