Still experimenting with my macro lens and I happened to have some brand new flowers. I took them to a well lit spot and snapped away. Only when you get close, there’s a lot less light. I went up in ISO and down to a darker exposure but I have to face it. I need to do this on a tripod until I can get one of those ring flashes. These are the ones that didn’t suffer from camera shake. The focus is a bit soft. I think that, since I’m so close to my subject, I need to narrow the aperture a lot more to have a sharp close up image. But then, the exposure takes longer.
I’m breaking out the tripod next time. Promise.
