Don’t know if you’ve heard of the light dusting of snow we got in NYC last Saturday? Right during E’s birthday party… Two of her friends were too far to make it but everyone else was within walking distance so we had the party. Sunday morning, we went out to Prospect Park for some sledding. I brought my camera but didn’t use it as much as I wanted. So. Many. People. Sledding. People who don’t understand how sledding works. I’m talking about people who just climb the hill in the center with people sliding down all around them. So safe! Anyway, by the time the girls had had their fill of sledding, I was out of energy to scout out pretty picture spots. Hey! I shoveled the entrance before going! But the kids cooperated for a couple minutes.
V because she wanted to fill her belly with delicious snow (totally my daughter, I used to love eating snow).
E because she understands my style now. She threw herself dramatically in the snow and saw me pull out my camera as she was getting up. She managed to repeat her fall pretty naturally.
And now, it’s going to melt-freeze-melt-freeze for a week or two until all the snow is gone. Pretty icicle pictures in my future?
I still love eating snow. 😉 Your girls are lovely!

Thank you! I’ve got to say, I still like it too but I’ve gotten much pickier about which snow I will eat so, essentially, I don’t eat it anymore!
