For the last few weeks, I haven’t had much enthusiasm for photography. I had five weeks of shooting the girls for PRP and KCW. Usually, I enjoy it. This time around, not so much. Maybe because I was sick? Whatever it was, I just couldn’t get into it. When it was all over, I still couldn’t get into it.
Yesterday, I got it into my head that I would take pictures again. We went through Prospect Park on our way home from the library but I couldn’t see anything that interested me. We stopped at the playground. There weren’t a lot of kids and I forced myself to get the camera out.
With no one on them, I could see the curve of the line of benches,
the colorful lines of the play equipment,
and the shadows they cast.
This next one was taken in December and had been waiting for me to share it.
And this one is from December too. I hadn’t done anything with it back then and it’s true that the composition isn’t the best but that light!
I want more of that light. Maybe I’m just done with Winter…
I love reading your comments! I will try to respond to every single one.
