Photo Monday – London

Before coming back to New York, we made a two day stop in London. Since we’d been before, we were able to relax a little more. The first time, we had skipped the Tower of London.  This time, we went.  We were there when it opened and we stayed until early afternoon and we didn’t even see everything!

I loved the ravens and I’m so happy that the picture shows the different shades of black.

Afterwards, we went to Tower Bridge…

…and walked all the way to the London Eye.  This isn’t something I’ve ever had the urge to do (expensive and the wait can be long) but I knew the girls would enjoy it.  By the time we got there, they only had tickets for late in the evening.  We got tickets for the next morning…

I took pictures of the Palace of Westminster from different heights but in the end, I still prefer the lower ones.

That second afternoon was spent relaxing in St James park.  We were a little tired so this was just perfect. I went a little click happy with the flowers and water fowl…

And now, M is busy planning next Summer’s adventures…

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?

That raven is really cool! I would have thought they were flat black, but I love the color variations!
