V was home with me all last week. E had camp so it was just the two of us. I needed a plan so she wouldn’t drive me crazy. (She drove me crazy anyway. She never stops talking. Almost literally.) On Tuesday, I took her to the zoo. It’s close, small, not too crowded, and not too expensive. It’s quite lovely, actually!
V got annoyed when I took my time with the flowers…
And the birds.
This one was looking straight at V standing right next to me.
But the main reason I took V to the zoo? Sea lions! There was a feeding/training session at 11:30 and we got there just in time.

I honestly thought that the sea lion in the first photo was a statue until I looked twice! That is really cool!

They’re well trained! Apparently, it’s good for them to do these exercises. We were told the sea lions need the mental stimulation that comes with the training.
