Remember the succulent on my roof from September? This is what it looked like back then.
I’d been stalking it ever since to see if it would indeed have the colorful flowers that Julie said it might have. And it did blossom! Beautiful, small, pale pink flowers…
They looked darker before opening up.
Confession time: these photos were taken at the beginning of October. The flowers are gone now.
The next ones are more recent at least. Taken last Saturday in Prospect Park. It was lovely out so we went for a walk there.
We went to “Brooklyn’s only forrest”. Honestly, I grew up next to a real forrest. This feels more like a wooded area. Forrest-light if you will. But hey, it’s in the middle of a sizable city so still pretty awesome.
Yeah. Only in the middle of the city would you find a hydrant in the forrest…
That succulent had such pretty little blossoms!
