I’ve been having the hardest time getting myself to practice my photography lately. I have a few projects just waiting for pictures so I can share them and I just haven’t been able to. My camera hasn’t been inspiring. The only thing that has kept me going with these Monday posts is the fact that if I stop, it’ll be that much harder to get back into it. So yesterday, I went outside to take pictures of… something? I had no idea what. Not Fall foliage for sure. It’s still mostly green. So I just walked around and took pictures of whatever sparked my interest, like birds all lined up on a branch.
(See what I mean about the green?)
I love the colors on these three houses and have never been able to get a good shot of them.
I see so many beautiful pictures of the houses around here and I haven’t yet been able to get similar images. I love the brownstones, the stoops, the intricate decorations on them, the ironwork, the flowers people plant… I try over and over again, trying different lenses, and it never quite works.
I was surprised this week. The pictures I thought I would like got discarded and I kept the ones I was sure I would hate. So maybe I’ll get to a point where I like my brownstone pictures.
Please don’t stop! I may not read the posts right away, but I always love seeing what catches your eye!
