After seeing what a flash can do and getting excited about learning more, I went out and took pictures of flowers in full Sun. What can I say? It was so lovely, warm and sunny (finally), and so many flowers everywhere. I was a little lazy and took maybe a quarter of the pictures I could have taken. I just wanted to soak up the sunlight.
I’d forgotten how harsh that light can be though. So many shadows showing up! I realized in that moment that my ring flash would actually have helped to fill out those shadows but I’d left it at home…
We went out Sunday again. I couldn’t stay in and I get bored hanging out on the rooftop. At first, only E wanted to come with me. Then V decided to join us and finally M. So all of us. E wanted to go to Prospect Park so I took them to Smorgasburg (first one of the season!)
I got lazy with the pictures again. I guess loading up on vitamin D was more important…
