The shop next to the grocery store has so many gorgeous tiny flowers right now. Teeny tiny and in so many colors. They also have a variety of branches with berries. I’ve been eyeing them all week and ended up selecting three different ones to make up a bouquet.
It reminds me of my wedding bouquet. Ok so there were gerberas in that one but I’d asked the florist to make it look like I’d just picked flowers from a field. It was beautiful. And this one also has that look like it was just picked in a field. I love that unpretentious style. And there were blue flowers! Not a purple that I guess you could call blue but honest to goodness blue! (My favorite color for as long as I can remember.)
I took the pictures in my bedroom. That’s where the best afternoon light is and there’s a black fireplace that makes for a dark background.
I used both the 50mm and the 100mm lenses. The 100mm is much more sensitive to camera shake so I had to discard a lot of the pictures but I can’t get quite as close as I want with the 50mm. I should get a small tripod for these pictures. Something easy to move around, so maybe a small monopod?
(That’s definitely the work of the 100mm. The yellow flowers were easier to photograph since they need less light.)
Something weird happened with the light here.
There were some pretty white flowers that V pointed out would make a beautiful wintery bouquet. I hope they still have them in a few weeks. I’d love to combine them with red berry branches for the holidays…
C'est toujours aussi beau!!!! les couleurs sont magnifiques.
