I’ve missed a couple Monday posts these past weeks. I was feeling completely uninspired. Usually, I push through and force myself to take pictures anyway. Sometimes, it breaks me out of my mood and end up feeling energized. But I didn’t have it in me this past month. I think Winter just got to me. It gets so grey and dark here. No snow to deal with and Spring comes earlier but those dark grey months got to me. The thing with snow is it reflects light. Even at night, there’s a brightness.

But it got warm and sunny this weekend. Spring-like. Crocuses are in full bloom. And I felt more energized than I have in a long time. We went for a walk. V tried to get us to buy her book (she got three new ones last week and she hasn’t even read them yet!) M asked me which street we should go to for flowers. Third Street. So many pretty front gardens. I wasn’t disappointed…

And there’s was one bee, busy in the crocuses. I snapped quite a few pictures in the hopes of getting a non blurry one and I got two! (Thank you sunlight for making my lens faster.)

She’s so cute, all covered in pollen…

Hopefully, this is me making my way back. I haven’t even been posting what I’ve made because I can’t be bothered to take pictures. I did get M to take some pictures. Some of them are even good! If I can get my act together, I’ll be able to prove that I haven’t been hibernating…

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
