I actually had plans to take pictures of the girls this weekend. After finding their chocolate haul yesterday morning, they were in the mood to humor me. But then, I used up all that goodwill to get them to play a duet and film it for their grandmother. A very slow Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (V is still a beginner and this was something she mastered well enough and that E was able to play with her; V is on the violin and E on the viola so they don’t study the same pieces). E slightly behind her sister so that V could concentrate on her notes rather than looking at her big sister. E managed to slow herself to follow V. They actually did pretty well! Anyway, that was that. They spent the rest of the day in pyjamas.

It was sunny and warmish so we spent some time on the roof. V completely under a blanket to heat herself up.

The neighbor’s stuff is still on our roof. There was a dandelion growing in one of the pots. I’ve always like them.

And there was a tulip! I didn’t know we had tulips!

Not being able to go out, a tulip on my roof is such an unexpected joy…

And then, a few days ago, I took pictures of the tree from my window. Not the best because I had tot take the picture through the window. But the angle isn’t right from the roof and my lens doesn’t zoom in close enough. So through the window it is…

The girls were supposed to be on Spring break this week but it was cancelled. I still want them easing up on the schoolwork during this week. I’m hoping to be able to do some sorta school related fun projects with them. Like, V is studying electricity in science class. Simple circuits. And I just happen to have some supplies for sewn circuits… Hopefully, we can make a light up plush toy of some sort. If V cooperates, that is. Far from a given…

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
