Prospect Park

It took me the whole week but I finally made it back to Prospect Park early yesterday morning. Well, ish. All last week, I tried to wake up early enough to by the lake around sunrise. And every single day, I woke up at 6AM on the dot. Except I needed to be out the door by 6AM to make it. I ended up giving up and just going when I could yesterday. And it was cloudy anyway…

I did manage to get one picture with sunlight before it hid behind the clouds again. The light was so pretty…

I didn’t really have anything I was looking for. Trees are still very green. Only a few ambitious ones have a couple colorful branches.

Anyone what this fruit is? It’s from the tree just above.

Blue flower. Because blue has always been my favorite color and I was always sad as a child that so few things are blue. The sky. Water, if you’re lucky. Blue jays. Not a whole lot of flowers. So this one is for kid me.

And birds I haven’t photographed before! Well, I’ve caught ducks but they were always in the water…

Now that I’ve made back once, hopefully, I’ll be able to get there early more often. And then take a nap after breakfast…

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
