It had been a while since I’d been to the park and I was starting to worry that I would miss out on the pretty colors. So I went yesterday afternoon. It was sunny and warm and I hoped to catch sunlight on the water.
But it was sunny and warm for a lot of people and I’m not used to that much noise and movement anymore. I ended up taking a shorter walk than I’d planned.
I didn’t need to worry about missing the changing leaves either. We usually go to Rhinebeck at this time of year and the colors are gorgeous there but not at their peak here. Sometime in the next week or two. It lasts so little time and I always worry that I’ll miss it. Taking pictures makes me feel like I can hold onto it a little longer.
