Flower Trees

I’ve been struggling with getting myself out there to take pictures. Well, even indoors. I just can’t seem to muster the energy. But the cherry trees are in bloom and I love them so much. They make everything look so dreamy.

It took me all week to work up the energy to go out and even then, I wanted company. M and E came with me. Just a neighborhood walk to spot all the gorgeousness.

Yes, I know this isn’t a cherry tree…

Walking in the park or garden, you get just the trees. In the neighborhood, I get the flowers and the architecture together. The nature/human made combination is one my favorites. Can’t get enough.

I tried to get pictures of daffodils and tulips as well but the telephoto lens wasn’t being cooperative. I need to macro lens for those and I’d left it at home. I really must push myself to go back on my own. My two walking partners just turned my outing into their own shopping expedition, conveniently forgetting that I’d invited them on a “taking pictures” walk…

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
