Cow Parade

The kids start school pretty late here. As in, I still had them at home on September 10. For our last Summer break activity, I took them to Industry City to check out the Cow Parade cows. I wasn’t sure the girls would enjoy it but they actually had a blast looking for the cows (aided by the map I’d downloaded). We loved all the cows but getting interesting pictures of them wasn’t always easy. I had a preference for the ones that weren’t just painted. So here are my favorite images (including a non cow picture).

The Brooklyn/NYC cows were favorites with the girls. We loved looking for all the landmarks and details on them.

This was the Black Lives Matter cow. Beautiful and sobering. We spent long minutes looking at all the names on it.

Creative mommy at home to two wonderful little girls, trying to juggle family, sewing, exercise, family, knitting, photography, and did I mention family?
