Still going through my backlog of pictures from before I got everything set up. Good thing too because I’ve been so busy with a million things that I haven’t been able to go on picture taking expeditions at all. I haven’t even had the time to explore Lightroom properly. I’ve loved everything I’ve discovered though. With the flowers this week, I’ve used the texture slider a lot. I don’t know how it works but it really brings out the texture I was trying to capture. I also darkened the shadows in some of them. I took the pictures close to a window with full sunlight shining down and I wanted to highlight the contrast without blowing out the lighter colors. Focusing my efforts on the shadows gave me all the drama I wanted without losing definition in the white flowers.
