I had flowers this week and I couldn’t resist another go with the macro lens and extension tube. I did so some comparison shots but in the end, I preferred using the lens with the extension tube. It’s a bit more complicated because the focal range is much smaller. Without the tube, I can focus from infinity (like a landscape) and the only limitation is how close I can get. With the tube, I can get closer but I also have to be careful not to go too far.
